Earlier this month Haringey Council celebrated a milestone with the completion of the first new homes at North Gate Park. The project is redeveloping land that was formerly part of St Ann’s Hospital. A celebration marked the completion of the first new homes at North Gate Park. The initial phase will create 240 homes (94 affordable). Speaking about the project, Haringey’s Co-Deputy Leader Tammy Hymas said “it was a significant moment for local people”. High Road West

This is one of the biggest regeneration projects in North London. It will transform a massive part of North Tottenham, redeveloping land from Tottenham High Road to White Hart Lane station.

The masterplan here is huge. It could deliver more than 2,600 new homes. The target is for 40% of them to be affordable, including 500 council homes. Additionally, there will be new leisure, retail, and community space, a public square and park, and more. The project will invest millions to provide socio-economic benefits for locals too.

Part of the HRW project took a step forward recently with Haringey Council approving a contractor to build 61 homes at Love Lane Estate. These new high quality council homes will be family size and fully adapted where necessary. The development also includes a communal garden with play space. The goal now is for construction to begin in the autumn, with completion due in 2028.
