How did Ealing get new hotspots?

The Elizabeth Line is the major reason Ealing now has two new hotspots. Both locations have new stations and there are regeneration projects ongoing too. As a result, there is a bright future for the areas.
West Ealing
There is a huge £237m regeneration scheme here. It will completely transform the area and likely make it one of the most popular spots in the borough in the next few years.
Work here is unlike anywhere else in London. The goal is to regenerate the neighbourhood with new homes, improvements to the public realm, and better street designs. Part of this is because the area is included in the Liveable Neighbourhoods scheme from TfL. It aims to make the district safer while promoting walking, cycling, and use of public transport.

One of the most interesting new developments in the area is The Bowery. There are already new homes available, but by 2024 there will be 300. This area is just two stops further along the line from West Ealing. It is a great suburban spot and regeneration projects are putting nature at the heart of the community.
A big part of this is the creation of The Green Quarter. Here there will be 2,500 new trees to line roads and many buildings will have living green roofs. It will improve the biodiversity of the area and make people enjoy being outdoors.
The redevelopments are also creating new parks, adding 13 acres to the existing 90 acres. Plus, there is new housing at Union Walk and Junction West, a retail and leisure hub, and a new school.
