An award winning programme

Guaranteed rent HaringeyHaringey Council is being very ambitious in their quest to build the next generation of social housing in the borough. Their programme has already won awards because of the quality of some of the flagship developments.

One of the most fantastic things to see is the focus on design standards. Sustainability is vital on each development. This includes measures like solar panels and high levels of insulation to make properties greener and more cost effective to run. Additionally, projects aim to improve green spaces and biodiversity, ensuring benefits for the communities.

There is another notable part of the programme too; accessibility. Haringey Council is working to make sure 1 in every 5 new homes is accessible or adaptable. This helps to provide more housing for people with disabilities and mobility problems.

Some schemes

One of Haringey’s biggest selling points is how many fantastic areas there are in the borough. It makes it an attractive spot for investors. We can help, offering guaranteed rent in Haringey for all locations.

The new homes at Hornsey Town Hall are in a great part of North London. The redevelopment is a landmark project for the area. It gives the 1930s building a new lease of life as a hotel and arts centre. Elsewhere on the site are new buildings with one, two, and three bed apartments. There is also a new town hall square, gardens, a courtyard, and a play area, ensuring more greenery for the area.

In December, Walter Tull House in Tottenham Hale was completed, providing 131 new council homes. It got its name from the iconic Tottenham Hotspur player, the first black outfield player in the English Football League. The stunning development has one, two, and three bedroom flats, including 17 wheelchair accessible properties. Later in 2025 the site will also have a new health centre.

Earlier in 2024, Haringey Council was celebrating completion of Nilgun Canver Court in Wood Green. The site was formerly derelict, once a chocolate factory. The redevelopment built 80 new flats as well as a communal garden with greenery. Its name is a tribute to a former Cabinet member who was heavily involved in reviving the area.
